We film in High-Definition and can deliver on Blu-ray disc which will show your wedding video in 1080 HD (1920 x 1080 pixels). 5 times better quality than DVD.

What is Blu-ray?

Blu-ray is everywhere now. HMV, Tesco's, WHSmith and will eventually replace DVD. Basically the Blu-ray disc has a larger capacity (25 GB per single-layered / 50 GB per dual-layered) than DVD (4.7GB per single-layered / 8.4GB per dual-layered).

Because we film in High Definition we have to compress the original film to fit our wedding video films onto DVD. You won't see or notice the difference until you see the Blu-ray version which can play your whole film minimum compressed. You do need a Blu-ray player or Play Station 3 to play a Blu-ray disc and also an HD ready TV to display it in 1080i.

The players are as low as £60 and play Blu-ray and DVD. Most people have a HD ready TV with an HDMI socket. Check your TV.

Should our videographer film in HD?

YES! And produce a Blu-ray disc for you. Most successful and professional companies would have taken the leap from SD to HD. We made the move 5 years ago.
